Technological Cooperation in the Fight Against Wildfires with Gazi University
March 15, 2024
In line with its commitment to strengthening technological solutions in disaster management, Anka Tecnology has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Gazi University to enhance early detection and response capabilities for forest fires.
Under the scope of this agreement, the procurement and integration of advanced optical lens camera systems will be carried out to support wildfire monitoring operations. These high-resolution imaging systems, equipped with enhanced detection capabilities, are designed to identify fire outbreaks at their earliest stages, significantly reducing response times.
Within the project framework, Gazi University will contribute its academic expertise in engineering and technology to optimize system performance under real field conditions. Additionally, the collaboration will focus on improving data analytics infrastructure to ensure more effective monitoring and decision-making processes.
Officials emphasized that this partnership represents not only a technological investment but also a strategic step toward environmental sustainability and the protection of natural ecosystems.
Anka Tecnology will continue to expand its collaborations with academic and technological partners to advance innovative solutions in wildfire prevention and environmental protection.
